Geographical location
The community lies in the Westerwald between Montabaur and Limburg an der Lahn. Weroth lies 290 m above sea level. The neighboring municipalities are Hundsangen, Wallmerod, three churches and Steinefrenz.

The local council in Weroth consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 a proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman. The twelve seats in the municipal council are divided into two groups of voters. In the previous election in 2004, a majority vote was held.

The coat of arms description reads: "In gold a red Göpel piece is growing on a silver umbrella with a silver bell tower with two black acoustic windows, under the tower occupied by a blue box; front and rear depending on a green oak branch with three leaves and an acorn. "

The nearest motorway junction is Diez at the Federal Highway 3 (Cologne - Frankfurt ), about four kilometers away. The nearest InterCityExpress stop is the railway station at Montabaur the high-speed line Cologne-Rhine/Main ( approximately 10 kilometers ), the nearest railway station is about two kilometers away from the railway station Steinefrenz along the route of the Westerwaldbahn of Limburg after Siershahn.
