Geographical location
The community lies in the Westerwald between Montabaur and Limburg an der Lahn.
History
Zehnhausen was first mentioned in documents as Zeenhusen in 1364. The first mention is a document of the St. Kastor - pin in Koblenz, where a deacon is called by the name of " Everhard of Zeenhusen ".

The nearest InterCityExpress stop is the railway station at Montabaur the high-speed line Cologne-Rhine/Main.
