Wethau

Wethau is a municipality in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ). It consists of the districts Gieckau, Pohlitz, Schmerdorf and Wethau. The Commune in 2010 in the course of municipal reform newly formed belongs to the municipality Wethautal.

Geography

The community Wethau located north of the community association Wethautal between municipalities Schoenburg in the north and in the south Mertendorf. History

The village was first mentioned in 1146.
