Žabovřesky nad Ohří

Žabovřesky nad Ohri ( German Schaborschesk ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers west from Roudnice an der Eger and belongs to Okres Litoměřice.

Geography

The village is to the left of Eger. By Žabovřesky leads the state road 246 between Louny and Roudnice. North of the village is the railway line between Libochovice and Mšené - Lazne, at which a train stop is located.

Neighboring towns are Chotěšov in the north, nad Ohri Břežany in the east, nad Ohri Budyně and Roudníček the southeast, Kostelec nad Ohri in the south, the west and Radovesice Hájek in the northwest.

History

The 1336 first mentioned village belonged to the detachment of the patrimonial in 1848 to rule nad Ohri Budyně.
