2007 World Series
The 2007 World Series was the 103rd edition of the Finals of the Major League Baseball. The series started on 24 October 2007 and ended on 28 October 2007. There stood the champion of the American League, the Boston Red Sox, and the champion of the National League, the Colorado Rockies, against. Winner of the " Best of Seven " series were the Boston Red Sox in four games with a smooth sweep, which thus won their second title in four years.
As the World Series MVP Mike Lowell was excellent.
