Berceto
Berceto is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2136 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Parma, in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 39 kilometers southwest of Parma.
History
Through the community, the Via Francigena pulls. The Holy Moderamnus died in the 8th century in Berceto.
In January 2012, was located in the municipal area, the epicenter of an earthquake.
Traffic
In the district Ghiare is a train station on the railway line from Parma to La Spezia. Through the community, the Autostrada A15 and the Strada Statale 62 della Cisa leads from Sarzana to Verona.
