Saint-Denis, Aosta Valley

Saint- Denis is a small Italian comune in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley.

Saint- Denis has 371 inhabitants and is situated at an altitude of 809 m above sea level. NN on the left side of the Dora Baltea. The population has decreased from 630 in 1881 to 397 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). The neighboring communes of Saint- Denis are Antey -Saint -André, Chambave, Châtillon, Pontey, Torgnon and Verrayes.

During the Fascist period, the village was the Italianate name of San Dionigi.
