Brissogne

Brissogne is an Italian municipality in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley.

Brissogne is a scattered community, has 1010 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) and lies at an altitude of 839 m above sea level. M. on the right side of the Dora Baltea.

The ruins of the Castello Brissogne are from the 13th century.

The neighboring municipalities are Charvensod, Cogne, Pollein, Quart and Saint -Marcel.

During the Fascist period, the village was the Italianate name Brissogno.
