Sarre, Aosta Valley

Sarre is a town in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley. The municipality has 4925 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012), is situated on the left bank of the Dora Baltea to an average height of 710 m slm and has a size of 28 km ².

Sarre consists of the districts Arensod, Bellair, Bellun, Blassinod, Charbonnière, Clut, Crou - Pernet, Fachet, Fochat, Grand Cré, Janin, La Fontaine, La Gorettaz, Lalex, Maillod, Moulin, Pertusat, Petit- Cré, Rovine, Sainte -Hélène, Saint- Maurice, Thouraz, Tissoret ( chef-lieu ), Vareille, Vert, Chesallet, Angelin, Baravod, praying, Beuve, Challançon, Cham plan, Clou, Conclonaz Condemine, Creutzet, Fareur, La Grenade, Lalaz, La Remise, Mondache, montan, Oveillan, Palue, Péravère, Piolet, Pléod, Poinsod, Pont d' Avisod, Rigollet, Ronc, Rovarey, Salee, Tissière, Ville- sur- Sarre, Caillod, La Cort, flax, Moulin, Remondet.

The neighboring communities are called Aosta, Aymavilles, Gignod Gressan Jovençan and Saint- Pierre.
