Saint-Pierre, Aosta Valley

Saint- Pierre is a town in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley. The municipality has 26 square km area 3111 residents (as of 31 December 2012), lies on the left bank of the Dora Baltea at an average altitude of 731 m asl. Residents are called Saint- Pierroleins.

The neighboring communities are called Avise, Aymavilles, Gignod, Saint- Nicolas, Saint- Rhémy -en -Bosses, Sarre, and Villeneuve.

During the Fascist period, the village was the Italianate name of San Pietro.
