1961–62 1re série season

The 1961/62 season was the 40th season of the 1re série, the highest French Hockey League. Champion for the third time in club history the Athletic Club de Boulogne -Billancourt.

Mode

In the main round of the three teams contested every four games. The winner of the main round qualified for the championship finals, qualified automatically for the year's champion Chamonix Hockey Club. However, since this did not compete, the AC Boulogne- Billancourt was declared the champion. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
