1986–87 NBA season
The NBA 1986/87 season was the 41st season of the National Basketball Association. The regular season began on October 31, 1986 and ended on 19 April 1987. Subsequently, the NBA playoffs followed on April 23, 1987, which ended in mid-June with the NBA Finals. The championship, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to secure with a 4-2 in the series against the Boston Celtics.
Draft
The 1986 NBA Draft took place in New York City on June 17, 1986. In the first position, Brad Daugherty was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
All-Star Game
The All-Star Game in 1987 was held on 8 February 1987 at the Kingdome in Seattle. The West won with 154 to 149 after extra time. For MVP Tom Chambers was elected.
