1998 COSAFA Cup
The second edition of COSAFA Cups, officially COSAFA Castle Cup 1998 took place before September 27, 1998 by April 19. Five teams from the Southern African region played for the title of South Africa champion. Zambia won his second title. The preliminary round was held until March 8 from 10 January. For the first time took Angola and South Africa in the tournament.
Game Mode
The ten participating countries played in the first round against each other. The five winners qualified for the finals and played in a group stage for the title of South Africa champion.

The first round took place until March 8, 1998 by January 10. Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique and Angola were able to qualify in the first round to the finals.
