1999 COSAFA Cup
The third edition of COSAFA Cups, officially COSAFA Castle Cup in 1999, was held to 2 October 1999 of July 4. Eight teams from the South African space played for the title of South Africa champion. Angola won his first title. The preliminary round was held until May 28 of 7 February.

Game Mode
For the final round of the tournament, the two top finishers of the last tournament qualified automatically. The remaining eight participants were playing in the first round, the four winners of which qualified for the finals. The remaining four played in a play-off round for the final two championship courses. The tournament was continued in all-in - system.
1 round / qualification
The first round took place until May 28, 1999 of February 7. Lesotho, Angola, Swaziland and South Africa failed to qualify in the first round to the finals.
Play -off round
Namibia and Mozambique managed to qualify in the play -off round.
