The 10th stage of the 2009 Tour de France on July 14, a pronounced flat stage, led over 194.5 km from Limoges to Issoudun. It contained three intermediate sprints and 3 climbs the 4th category. The field took the small breakaway group a 1700 m before the finish. In the field sprint Mark Cavendish won clearly ahead of Thor Hushovd.

This stage was held on considerations of the tour managers, together with the World Association of cyclists out on a trial basis without radio communications.
