The 9th stage of the Tour de France 2012 took place on 9 July 2012. She was discharged as a time trial and was 41.5 km long. The start was in Arc- et- Senan the target in Besançon. There were still 178 of 198 riders on.

Route

The route went northeast through the departments of Jura and Doubs. On the first half of the course profile was wavy, then mostly flat. The intermediate times were measured in Abbans -Dessus and Avanne - Aveney.

Race course

Was started first in the two-minute interval after the first 120 riders every three minutes.
