Altino, Abruzzo
Altino is a town with 2912 inhabitants in the province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region of Italy.
The place is located on a large rock overlooking the valley of the River Aventine. The neighboring municipalities are Archi, Atessa, Casoli, Perano, Roccascalegna and Sant'Eusanio del Sangro. In the valley there are fruit and olive trees and grapes.

In the surroundings of the village vines of Montepulciano are grown for the DOC wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
