Casoli

Casoli is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5846 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region. The municipality is situated approximately 28 km south-southeast of Chieti and is part of the Comunità Montana Aventine - Medio Sangro. The municipality is part of the Natural Park Riserva naturale controllata Lago di Serranella. In the near Casoli the Aventine, which is dammed here to Lago Sant'Angelo flows in the Sangro. The place bears the title Città (City).
