Montebello sul Sangro

Montebello sul Sangro is a comune ( comune ) in Italy with 98 inhabitants in the province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region. It lies about 42 km south-southeast from the provincial capital of Chieti and is part of the Comunità Montana Valsangro. Until the late 20th century, the town was called Buonanotte, while in the early days - still called Mala Notte - between the 11th and 12th centuries.
