Audi allroad quattro
The Audi allroad quattro (since 2006 Audi A6 allroad quattro ) is the off-road version of the Audi A6 Avant. It differs from the original model by the standard permanent all-wheel drive with air suspension, increased ground clearance, as well as issued and protected fenders front and rear. With the level of regulation of ground clearance in four stages (C5) can be adjusted. In the highest level a ground clearance of 20.8 inches and 18.5 inches at the C5 is achieved in the C6. At higher speeds, the level will be automatically lowered again, in order to reduce air resistance.

Audi allroad quattro (2002-2005)
The production of the allroad quattro began in late 1999. He came in the spring of 2000 as an offshoot of the then current A6 first with the 2.7 -liter V6 petrol engine and the weaker 2.5 liter diesel on the market.
Mid-2002, the appearance of the allroad quattro has been revised and adapted to the former A6. From then on, the eight- cylinder was available, a year later came the smaller diesel to do so.
In the summer of 2005, production of the allroad quattro has ended.

Two years after the renewed A6 came in May 2006, the new model on the market, which was now called the Audi A6 allroad quattro. From the outset, the following engines were available:

Facelift
Analogous to the facelift of the A6 allroad quattro was also redesigned at the end of 2008. In addition to design retouching, the engines have been revised or added, the new 3.0 TFSI in the program:
- 2.7 TDI: 2.7 liters, 140 kW (190 hp ), the V6 diesel with turbocharger and direct injection by common rail
- 3.0 TDI: 3.0 liters, 176 kW ( 240 hp), the V6 diesel with turbocharger and direct injection by common rail
- 3.0 TFSI: 3.0 liters, 213 kW ( 290 hp ), the V6 gasoline engine with supercharging and FSI
- 4.2 FSI: 4.2 liters, 257 kW ( 350 hp ) V8 gasoline engine with FSI
The end of 2011 the production was ended.

The third generation of the A6 allroad quattro has been produced since the beginning of 2012. It is available with a 3.0 liter petrol and three 3.0 -liter diesel engines.
