Audun Lysbakken

Audun Bjørlo Lysbakken ( born September 30, 1977 in Bergen) is a Norwegian politician Sosialistisk Venstreparti ( SV).

As early as 1995 Audun Lysbakken began to become politically active in his native city of Bergen, he was a member of the boards of organizations Ungdom mot EU, Natur og Ungdom. After attending the High School of Commerce mountains he studied between 1996 and 1998 French and political science at the University of Bergen and from 1998 to 1999, Member of the Student Parliament. During his studies Lysbakken was in Bergen Chairman of the socialist youth organization Sosialistisk Ungdom (SU ), the youth wing of SV. 1998 to 2000 he held this post in the province of Hordaland. At the same time he was between 1999 and 2000 a member of the city council of Bergen.

After completing his community service and working as a secretary of the Norwegian Ecological Agriculture League (Norsk Økologisk Landbrukslag - Noll ), he was from 2000 to 2001 a journalist for class Kampen, a left-wing newspaper. At the same time he was between 2000 and 2002 Deputy State Chairman of the SU.

2001 candidate Lysbakken in Hordaland for Sosialistisk Venstreparti and won a seat in parliament in the Storting. He then served on the Budget Committee. In 2005, he missed a re-election. In 2009 he was able to return to parliament, but the mandate rested after he had been appointed Minister of Children, Equality and Integration in the government Jens Stoltenberg II on 20 October 2009. On March 5, 2012 Lysbakken announced his retirement after many years of illegal practices in the awarding of grants of his Ministry had become known. This Lysbakken is currently playing ordinary member of Parliament.

Since 2006 Lysbakken was Deputy Chairman of the SV. An extraordinary party congress elected him on 10 March 2012 despite his resignation as Minister for party chairman. He received 92.8 % of the delegates' votes.
