The municipality Bad Bergzabern is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Southern Wine Route in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality belong to the spa town of Bad Bergzabern and 20 independent local churches, the council is based in the eponymous town of Bad Bergzabern.

History

The municipality Bad Bergzabern was from projects launched in the 1960s, Rhineland-Palatinate territorial and administrative reform on the basis of the " Thirteenth state law on administrative simplification in the land of Rhineland -Palatinate " dated 1 March 1972 entered into force on April 22, 1972 newly formed.

It was approved in 1982 by the district government Neustadt. The first three fields are the monasteries Klingenmünster and White Castle, the rule Guttenberg and the Electoral Palatinate for the former territorial lords.
