Oberhausen is a municipality in the Southern Wine Route in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Bad Bergzabern.

Geography
The wine is between the biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest and the Rhine.
At Oberhausen include the residential places House Evil and oil mill.
History
The village " Oberhusen " was first mentioned in documents in 1219.
Religion
In 2007, 63.7 percent of the population Protestant and 22.4 percent Catholic. The other belonged to a different religion or no religious affiliation were.

Coat of arms

It was approved in 1982 by the district government Neustadt. The city hall tower is the landmark of the community.
