Waldrohrbach

Waldrohrbach is a municipality in the Southern Wine Route in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Annweiler am Trifels.

Geographical location

The village lies at the foot of Rehberg, the highest mountain 577 meters in the German part of the Wasgau. It is drained by the Kaiser Bach, a left tributary of the Klingbach, from West North West to east-southeast. In their entirety within the boundaries of the municipality is located approximately one kilometer in length Heimbach, a right tributary of the Kaiser Bach, which flows into the latter at the southeastern edge of settlement.

History

After the Second World War Waldrohrbach belonged to the district Bergzabern, before moving in 1969 in the newly created district Landau -bath Bergzabern, which was renamed in 1978 in Southern Wine Route.
