Geographical location
Cheap -Ingenheim is located near the German Wine Road between the towns of Bad Bergzabern and Landau in the Palatinate.

History
Cheap home is one of the oldest settlements on the Palatine, first mentioned in 693 under the name " Bull Inch Home ". Cheap home was the immediate possession Empire, in 1350 comes cheap home then in the possession of the Counts of Leiningen. Inge home housed at that time the largest Jewish community in the Palatinate. From 1869 to 1884 Inge Heim had with Bernhard Roos ( 1796-1888 ) even a Jewish mayor. On the site of the former synagogue is now home to a car dealership. In Inge home is a well-preserved Jewish cemetery.
Today's local church was (E. 429 ) new formed on 7 June 1969 the formerly independent communities Appenhofen (then 237 inhabitants ) Cheap Home ( 1579 E. ), Inge Heim ( 1436 E. ) and Muhlhofen.
Religion

Structures
The Protestant parish church with its 40 m high tower is the landmark of cheap home.
The oldest part of the church is the basement of the church tower. Machining marks and the shape of cuboid remember a time of origin in the 11th century. This coincides with the local tradition, after the Emperor Conrad II, the first church of cheap home have erected. Around 1220, this church was demolished and replaced by a new building. In the early 14th century, around 1325/30 the High Gothic choir of the church was built, about the same time the tower was increased. The nave is late Gothic and was built in the first decades of the 16th century. The west portal bears the date 1522. During the 18th century, the tower received its Baroque dome.

- Since 1991, the Wine Festival takes place in Mühlhofen on the last weekend of July.
- In Inge home takes place annually on the second weekend in August, the Inge Heimer wine and Klingbach hard place.
- In cheap home each year on the third weekend in September, the Billigheimer Purzelmarkt, the oldest festival in the Palatinate, instead.
Economy and infrastructure
Cheap -Ingenheim is influenced significantly by the Viticulture and bestockter with 826 hectares (2010 ) fourth-largest wine-growing village in the Palatinate and fifth largest wine-growing community in Rhineland- Palatinate.
From 1892 to 1967, the villages were connected within the local church today Cheap -Ingenheim on the Klingbach Valley Railway to the railway network. Closest train station has since Rohrbach.
