Bagnolo San Vito

Bagnolo San Vito is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5983 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Mantua in Lombardy. The community is located about 10 kilometers southeast of Mantua at the Parco del Mincio regional. The northern boundary of the parish is the Mincio River, the southern of the Po. The extreme eastern point of the municipality is the confluence of the two rivers.

History

The community was, as archaeological finds show already settled by the Etruscans.
