Behind the laughter (English title: Behind the Laughter ) is the 22nd episode of the eleventh season, and thus the 248th episode of The Simpsons. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program ( For Programming Less Than One Hour ) in 2000.
Action
In the form of a report with intermediary interviews the history of the Simpsons is told retrospectively. With the presentation of the ups and downs of the series is advocated to continuing the mission. Finally, it becomes known that Homer himself is the responsible author of screenplays and already long time wanted to produce a family series before. This he did by Marge's words, "Then do it yet! "
