The Berlin Bellevue railway station is located on the rail in the district Hansaviertel in the Mitte district in Berlin. It is served by the S -Bahn lines S5, S7 and S75. The train station is near the Bellevue Palace, the official residence of the German President.

History

Construction of the building began simultaneously with the construction of light rail in 1875; the station was opened together with the light rail to traffic on 7 February 1882.

The station is now next to the S- Bahn station Hackescher Markt to the city's two railway stations, which are still preserved in its original form. It was damaged during the war and makeshift repairs; In 1987 he was restored to its original occasion of the 750th anniversary of Berlin. In 1995, the station was re-opened along with the entire city railway viaduct, modernized and on 11 November 1997. The building is a listed building.
