The Dalfazalm 1693 m, Rofangebirge ( Brandenberger Alps), Austria

The Brandenberger Alps are a subgroup of the Northern Limestone Alps in the Eastern Alps. You are fully in Austria in Tyrol between Achensee, Inn Valley and the Bavarian Alps.

The western part ( Western Brandenberger Alps) is commonly called Rofangebirge (short Rofan and also Midsummer Mountains); meant by that is the area between the Brandenberger Ache and Achensee. The eastern part (east Brandenberger Alps) extends as Pendlingzug Steinberg / Brandenberg to Kufstein. The Western Brandenberger Alps consist of a central mountain group and three rather solitary mountains. A special position outside the central group takes the Guffert one ( 2195 m), which is a separate mountain range. It lies north of Steinberg am Achensee between the Tegernsee Blue Mountains and the central Rofan. The Useless at the north end of Lake Achen Achen east of the church and the yoke Plane (1957 m) east of Maurach at the southern end of Lake Achen, are also located outside the central mountain range.
