Carlo Nash

Carlo Nash (2009)

Carlo James Nash (* September 13, 1973 in Bolton) is an English footballer. He currently plays for Norwich City as goalkeeper.

Career

He started his career at the club unterklassigen Clitheroe before moving to Crystal Palace. Then Nash played a few years at Stockport County and moved to Manchester City in 2001.

After Manchester City in the FA Premier League was established, Nash was sold to Middlesbrough FC. But after only five games for the club in two years, he joined a league deeper to Preston North End.

There he set a new club record, and held in the 2005/06 season 25 times a clean sheet. Preston conceded fewer goals this season as the defending champion FC Reading.

In early 2007 he was a month on loan at Wigan Athletic. After this time he returned according to contract back to Preston, where he landed on 8 March 2007 on the transfer list. Wigan Athletic signed him then permanently on 27 June 2007 £ 300,000. In 2008, Nash moved to Everton.
