Carlos Checa

Carlos Checa (born 15 October 1972 Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain ) is a former Spanish motorcycle racer and Superbike world champion 2011.

Checa made ​​his debut in the season 1993 Honda in classes up to 125 cc and 250 cc in the Motorcycle World Championship. In 1995 he went as a substitute driver for the injured Alberto Puig in the 500 cc class and also in the same year Spanish Champion in the 250 cc class.
