Cartura

Cartura is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4615 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Padua in Veneto. The community is located approximately 15.5 kilometers south of Padua on canale Ponte Longo.

History

It was not until around 1440 Cartura is mentioned in a document for the first time, although the area was already inhabited by the first century BC.
