Teolo
Teolo is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 8934 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Padua in Veneto. The community is located about 17 kilometers southwest of Padua in the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills at Rocca Pendice. The administrative center of the municipality is located in the district Treponti.
History
From the 11th century the Abbey of Praglia ( Praglia Abbey ), a Benedictine abbey in the Euganean Hills comes. However, the village Teolo like to go back to a Roman guard from the second century BC.
