The company based in Paris began in 1900 with the production of automobiles. The brand name denominated Chainless and Knowles chain. 1903 production ended.

Initially, there were the models 8 CV and 12 CV with two-cylinder engines installation of the Société Buchet. 1901 there were 16 CV in the body shape Tonneau. 1903 was followed by the largest model of the 24 CV. All models were equipped with shaft drive.

This was the brand name originated 1900-1901 vehicles equipped with chain drive.
