De Riancey
The Société des Automobiles de Riancey was a French manufacturer of automobiles.
Company History
The company based in Levallois-Perret began in 1899 with the construction of automobiles. 1901 production ended. Établissements Snoeck from Belgium used the patented front-wheel drive system for their own vehicles.
Rolling stock
In the literature, only one model is described. This is a vehicle having a front engine and front wheel drive. The steering lever acted on the entire front of the car. The two-cylinder engine was air-cooled. The body had room for two people.
A car of this brand has been preserved and exhibited at Grandson Castle. Both the front and the four-seat Dos -à -dos- building differ from the literature.
