Ph. Marot Gardon et Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

The company was founded in 1898 in Corbie. Another source indicates that the company's headquarters on the rue Brunel 37 was in Paris, and only the production facility in Corbie. In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Marot -Gardon. 1902 production ended.

Rolling stock

First Tricycle Tricycle and four-wheelers were produced. 1899 appeared a small car with a single-cylinder engine with 3 hp and three-speed gearbox. 1900, the engine output increased to 4.5 hp. 1901 was the offer from a model with a front engine, 6 hp and chain drive as well as a race car with built-in motor of Soncin in the rear, which carried 7 hp.

A tricycle this brand is on display in the Shuttleworth Collection in Biggleswade. Another tricycle is the Automobile Museum of Belgrade. The seat instead of a motorcycle saddle and tail shape are unusual; a subsequent conversion not excluded.
