Charles-Ferdinand Nothomb

Baron Charles -Ferdinand N.M.P. Nothomb ( May 3, 1936 in Brussels) is a Belgian politician of the French-speaking Christian Democrat Party - humanist center démocrate Humaniste ( cdH ). He was Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs 1980 until 1981. Nothomb is Vice President of the European Movement International. Since 20 June 2009, he has until the end of the Irish pro- Lisbon Treaty campaign in Ireland Acting President.

Charles -Ferdinand Nothomb is the great uncle of the Belgian writer Amélie Nothomb.
