Claro Open Colombia
The ATP tournament in Bogotá ( Colombia officially Claro Open ) is a men's tennis tournament, held in 2013 in Bogotá, Colombia. The end of 2012 it was announced that the rights of the tournament were sold in Los Angeles to Bogota and thus again takes place an ATP tournament in Colombia. It is played on outdoor hard courts as in Los Angeles in the summer and is part of the ATP World Tour 250; The venue is the Centro de Alto Rendimiento.
From 1994 to 2001, there was already an ATP tournament in Bogotá, it was part of the ATP International Series and was held outdoors on clay court. The tournament was organized also at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento. Between 2004 and 2010 it had the status of a Challenger tournament and was last known under the name of Bancolombia Open. Alejandro Falla won so far the only player in a single tournament twice. In doubles already David Rikl, Sebastián Prieto and Santiago González each has succeeded with different partners.
