Ficarolo

Ficarolo is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2581 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Rovigo in Veneto. The community is located about 30.5 km west- southwest of Rovigo and about 19 kilometers northwest of Ferrara on the Po. Ficarolo is immediately adjacent to the province of Ferrara (Emilia -Romagna).

History

The church is first mentioned 936. 1152 there will be a flood of the Po, which enters as rotta di Ficarolo in the history books and numerous towns and cities devastated in the Po Delta.
