Rosolina

Rosolina is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6528 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Rovigo in Veneto. The municipality is situated approximately 35 km east of Rovigo and about 41 km south-southwest of Venice at the mouth of the River Adige in the Adriatic Sea. Rosolina is located in the Venetian part of the Parco Regionale del Delta del Po in the Polesine and directly borders the province of Venice.

Economy and Transport

Tourist the area is very popular. In particular, the upstream Albarella like to visit. Passing through the municipality, the Strada Statale Romea 309, which is also designated as European route 55. On the railway line from Rovigo-Chioggia is a holding station in Rosolina.
