FIL World Luge Natural Track Championships 1982

The 3rd FIL Natural Track Luge World Cup took place from 16 to 21 February 1982 in Feld am See in Austria.

Single Seater Men

The Austrian Gerhard Pircher became world champion in single-seaters and thus won his only medal at major events. Second-placed Italians Otto Bachmann had won bronze two years ago. Third was the world champion of 1979, the Austrian Werner Prantl, who also won bronze in the doubles.

Single Seater Ladies

In the third natural track luge World Cup there was the second world champion in the women. After 1979 and 1980 the Italian Delia Vaudan who was fourth at this time, had won the gold medal this year went to her compatriot Herta Hafner.
