Geography
Geographical Location
Frankenwinheim is located in the Main- Rhön, about 20 kilometers south of Schweinfurt.
Community structure
The community consists of three parts:
- Brno city
- Frankenwinheim
- Weinberg mill
There are the districts of Brno city and Frankenwinheim.

History
Frankenwinheim was first mentioned in the year 779 AD in a document. The former to rule Wiesentheid the Count Schönborn counting village was from 1500 in the Frankish Empire circle. It was mediated by Bavaria in 1806 and left in the wake of the Grand Duchy of Würzburg Grenzpurifikationen 1810 of Archduke Ferdinand of Tuscany, with which it finally fell back to Bavaria in 1814.
