General Donovan Department

The Department of General Donovan is located in the eastern center of the Chaco Province in northwestern Argentina and is one of 25 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered to the north by the Departamento Sargento Cabral, on the east by the department of Primero de Mayo, on the south by the department of Libertad and west by the Departamento Presidencia de la Plaza.

The capital of the department of General Donovan is Macalle. It is located 60 kilometers from the provincial capital Resistencia and about 1060 km from Buenos Aires.
