Großbardorf
Großbardorf is a municipality in the Lower Franconian district of Rhön - grave field and a member of the administrative community bathroom Königshofen in the grave field. Nationally known Großbardorf is by the football club TSV Großbardorf, who played in the Football Regional 2008-2009.

Geographical Location
Großbardorf is located in the Main- Rhön. The community is located 26 km from Schweinfurt and 120 km from Nuremberg.

History
789 " Pargthorfum " ( village on the Barget ) is called in the Carolingian period in a deed of the monastery of Fulda first time. 1165 replaced the monastery exchange Marketers angle tithe in Großeibstadt against an estate in Großbardorf. 1305 falls Großbardorf after the extinction of the Counts of wild mountain halfway to the counts of Henneberg and the other to the Bishopric of Würzburg. Großbardorf belongs henceforth to Wurzburg Office Wildenberg. 1586 also falls hen bergische part under the contract Schleusinger to the Bishopric of Würzburg.
As part of the Prince-Bishopric of Würzburg, which belonged to the Frankish Empire Circle, Großbardorf was secularized in 1803 in Bavaria's favor, then the Peace of Pressburg (1805 ) Archduke Ferdinand of Tuscany left to form the Grand Duchy of Würzburg, with which it finally fell to Bavaria in 1814.
