Grugliasco

Grugliasco ( Grujasch Piedmontese ) is a municipality with 37,804 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Turin (TO ), Region Piedmont.

The neighboring municipalities are Turin, Collegno and Rivoli.

The municipality covers an area of 13 km ².

Patron saint of the village is the St. Roch.

On 29 and 68 April 30, 1945 Italian partisans and civilians were killed by the retreating troops of the German Wehrmacht in Grugliasco and the neighboring municipality of Collegno.
