Haldor Lægreid

Haldor Lægreid ( born March 30, 1970 in Tromsø) is a Norwegian musical performer.

After finishing high school in Trondheim Haldor Lægreid went for three years at the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg. He was then engaged in Germany as a musical actor and has appeared in Cats, West Side Story and Les Misérables. Back in Norway he played Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. As the winner of Melodi Grand Prix, he was allowed to participate as a representative of Norway to Euro Vision Song Contest 2001 in Copenhagen. His pop ballad On My Own, finished in last place. His career as a musical performer hurt it not, he was soon again in Germany, seen in Elisabeth in Stuttgart and Dance of the Vampires in Berlin.
