Geography
Geographical location
Höslwang located in Southeast Upper Bavaria in the Chiemgau around 12 km from Lake Chiemsee. To Rosenheim is 22 km away, to Wasserburg am Inn 19 km, Bad Endorf 7 km, according to Prien am Chiemsee 14 km to Traunstein 30 km away. For the Federal Highway 8 (junction Bernau am Chiemsee ) is 20 km, the nearest train station is Bad Endorf. History
Höslwang belonged to Rentamt Burghausen and the district court Kling of the Electorate of Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.
