Hua Taphan District

Amphoe Hua Taphan ( Thai: อำเภอ หัวตะพาน ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southwestern province of Amnat Charoen. The Amnat Charoen province is located in the eastern part of the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Adjacent Amphoe are counted from the North: Amphoe Mueang Amnat Charoen and the Lue Amnat Charoen province Amnat, Amphoe Muang Sam Sip and the Khueang Nai in Ubon Ratchathani Province and Amphoe Kham Amphoe Pa Tio Khuean Kaeo and in the province of Yasothon.

History

Hua Taphan was born on August 15, 1967 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the four Tambon Hua Taphan, Kham Phra That Nong Kaeo Yai and Kheng were separated from Amphoe Mueang Amnat Charoen today. On November 17, 1971 Hua Taphan was promoted to Amphoe.

In 1993, Hua Taphan was one of the counties that make up the new Amnat Charoen Province was created.

Management

Amphoe Hua Taphan in eight communities ( tambon) divided, the further into 85 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

Hua Taphan itself ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หัวตะพาน ) is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in a circle, it covers parts of the tambon Hua Taphan, Nong Kaeo and Rattanawari.

There are also seven administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
