Jorge Fucile

Jorge Ciro Fucile Perdomo ( born November 19, 1984 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan football player. The full-back is currently for FC Porto in Portugal under contract. While he was playing in the club on the right side, he is acting in the national team for the most part left in the back four.

Career

In the club

After he began his career in 2002 when Liverpool FC in Montevideo and there for him in his first year in the Apertura and Clausura eleven inserts ( no goals ) are occupied, it was first awarded in 2006 a year at FC Porto. After a good season in the Super League, he convinced coach Jesualdo Ferreira at 18 inserts ( one goal), so that one firm signed him for a transfer fee of 600,000 euros and endowed with a contract until 2010. By the end of the season 2009/2010 59 more inserts ( no goals ) for Fucile are occupied in Porto's top tier. In September 2010, his contract extension was announced until 2014 and later confirmed a contract period to June 2014. In the seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12, 16 or seven more games were added in the Portuguese first division.

In total he completed for Porto so far more than 150 official games played, but had recently under coach Vítor Pereira in a difficult position

In early 2012 he was loaned to Santos for the entire calendar year. There he came through injury only to nine appearances ( no goals ) in the Campeonato Paulista. He returned to Portugal. In March 2013 he returned due to the injury of seven players temporarily back into the first team postage. So far (as of October 29, 2013 ) are each registered another league use in Erstligamannschaft, a game in the national cup competition and completed the game in the Liga de Honra playing reserve team in the season 2013/14. According to reports the Portuguese press the previously long time injured Fucile early November 2013, the professional team has been sorted out. This was preceded by a heated discussion with coach Paulo Fonseca, in his Fucile ignoring brought despite his recovery and nominations for the national team for the language.

In the National Team

With the national team he participated in the 2007 Copa América in part in Venezuela. Also, he was appointed national coach Oscar Tabarez Washington in the squad for the World Cup 2010.
