Joseph Aubin Doiron

Joseph Aubin Doiron, CM ( born June 10, 1922 in North Rustico, Prince Edward Iceland, † 28 January 1995) was a Canadian dentist. From 1980 to 1985 he was Vice- Governor of the Province of Prince Edward Iceland.

The Acadians Doiron received his secondary education in Nova Scotia and then studied dentistry at the Université de Montréal. In 1951 he opened a practice in Summerside, which he led for nearly three decades. In addition to his professional activities, he became involved in many cultural and charitable organizations. In particular, he joined as a sponsor of the French-speaking Acadian Culture in appearance. He was also a member of the school board of Summerside and the local Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he was President of the Dental Association of his home province and board member of the Canadian Dental Association. Governor General Edward Schreyer sworn Doiron on 14 January 1980 as the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Iceland. This representative office he held until 1 August 1985.
